For over 3 decades I've worked as a leader in the arts and culture sector.  Nurturing creativity with UK-based artists and organisations, working with central and local government as well as funders.   Awarded a commitment to the arts by Arts Council England, I'm also a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.  

I've worked on high profile international and large scale UK and EU regeneration programmes,  aimed at revitalising public spaces and have applied my creative skills to problem solve in the field of science and innovation.  

My passion for improving social justice and health equity has led to education and more recently public health work.   I'm known for bringing ideas, a good dose of humour, a collaborative spirit and lots of energy to make 'it' happen!

A Londoner of South Asian heritage, I have set up we-are-wild to connect with the diverse cultures that enrich our city.  I'm a self taught lifelong gardener and ecologist, focused on regenerative growing with urban communities.  As a creative practitioner, I work across arts disciplines and am passionate about helping us all get a little more wild, with the help of my creative friends!
